My dog and daughter have grown up together (both now 6) and it was fun in the early years trying to get them to leave eah others toys alone. I constantly found myself having to say “no”, I have to say though that over time the problems has disappeared and they both now leave each others toys alone.

Puppy training needs persistence on the part of the owner. One thing to add on to what you have mentioned is that young puppies tend to urinate more grequently than adult dogs and for this reason, dog owners need to bring them outside of the house more frequently at the begining perhaps in an interval of a few hours. As they grow older, the frequency can be reduced. Praises do help when your puppies do things correctly and a hug from you means a whole lot to them!

We added glucosamine – which we purchased at Walmart – and it helped our dog’s arthritis problem greatly. We were careful to research and match the weight of the dog to the dosage so we didn’t have any problems.
